MARC Welcomes Morgan Pagels as New Director of Business Development

Morgan Pagels

We are excited to welcome Morgan Pagels to Maryland Addiction Recovery Center as our new Director of Business Development. A veteran of the behavioral healthcare field for over 15 years, Morgan will join the MARC management team and oversee the business development and outreach initiatives of the organization.

Morgan joins MARC after successful stops at several local and national organizations. Initially, Morgan worked at a local Maryland program in both admissions and operations. Prior to MARC, she worked at two national addiction treatment organizations in business development and outreach. She has held many different positions in the field, including Director of Utilization Review and Managed Care, Director of Admissions, and National Clinical Outreach Representative.

“As a long-term, community-based treatment organization, there is no one better we could think of than Morgan to step into the role of Director of Business Development here at MARC,” explained MARC Co-Founder and Corporate Director of Marketing Zach Snitzer. “During her time working in addiction treatment and behavioral health, she has demonstrated an incredible ability to be a resource for individuals and families impacted by addiction and mental health, as well as for professional colleagues and treatment facilities. As a person and a professional, Morgan embodies the principles and characteristics we strive for as an organization, and she will immediately be an invaluable member of our team.”

Alongside her extensive experience in the addiction treatment field, Morgan is also a woman in long-term recovery who is focused on uplifting her local community and working to better the addiction treatment field. She spends much of her time offering mentorship to professionals in the addiction treatment space, helping others achieve the best version of themselves with support and guidance. She serves on the D.C.-Maryland-Virginia Professional Liaison’s Association (DMV-PLA) professional development committee, as well as the policies and procedures committee for the Veterans Outreach of Pennsylvania’s tiny home project in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

As the Director of Business Development at MARC, Morgan will work with MARC ownership and leadership, manage the business development department, provide supervision for community outreach specialists, and work with MARC’s Corporate Director of Marketing to create, implement, and execute the overall branding, business development, and outreach efforts of the organization. She will work to develop and manage professional, clinical, and community organization partnerships to ensure that anyone impacted by addiction and mental health issues receive necessary resources to find recovery.

“I have been a friend and colleague of Maryland Addiction Recovery Center since they opened their doors, and I am thrilled to join MARC and work alongside their talented and diverse team,” Morgan said. “Maryland is my home, and it is where I am raising my family, so it is extremely important to me that I am able work for an organization providing the highest in quality care and can be a trusted resource for anyone in need find the help that they deserve.”
