MARC Executive Director Sam Bierman Honored as Baltimore Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” Class of 2019

40 Under 40 class of 2019

On August 29th, Baltimore Business Journal announced their honorees for the publication’s “40 Under 40” Class of 2019. Among the 40 named local businesspeople honored, was Maryland Addiction Recovery Center Co-Founder and Executive Director Sam Bierman.

Having cofounded Maryland Addiction Recovery Center with Aura Arslanian and MARC Director of Business Development Zach Snitzer in late 2013, Sam has worked tirelessly as a member of the local Baltimore business community, both to grow and perfect MARC as a treatment organization to better treat those individuals and families that suffer from addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders, and also to be an active member of the local Baltimore and surrounding Maryland business community.

In addition to his role at Maryland Addiction Recovery Center’s Executive Director, Sam also serves on the Board of Directors for the local organization Shalom Tikvah, a non-profit that supports Jewish families in Baltimore facing mental illness and other challenging life circumstances, as well as on the membership committee of the National Association of Addiction Treatment Providers, the addiction treatment industry’s trade organization. Additionally, he has spent much of his time advocating locally and statewide in Annapolis on issues that impact those suffering from addiction and living in recovery.
