Many patients needing intensive outpatient (IOP) addiction and co-occurring treatment at Maryland Addiction Recovery Center require a safe, structured sober living. A sober living is a vital piece of a supportive continuum of care, and a safe, supportive environment where a patient is surrounded by a sober community, along with house management and staff.
For female patients, MARC provides a safe, sober living environment in a large, comfortable home close in walking distance to our Clinical Campus in Towson, Maryland. With management and staff, MARC IOP patients living in the sober home are given appropriate oversight, necessary accountability, and the opportunity to engage in the local recovery community. Walking distance to shops, Towsontowne Mall, jobs, and multiple colleges and universities, the MARC sober living for women is the perfect setting for patients not in need of long-term extended care programming, but who need a sober environment and community outside of the family home or apartment while attending IOP.
