Travian Savage is a Primary Therapist at Maryland Addiction Recovery Center. He holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in social work with a focus on clinical practice. He is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in the state of Maryland.
Prior to joining the MARC team, Travian worked at a men’s homeless shelter in Baltimore City, where he provided clinical case management services to individuals experiencing homelessness, substance use disorders, and serious mental illness. In addition to his direct clinical work there, he supervised a team of social workers and played an integral role in program development and service coordination.
Travian was inspired to become a mental health therapist by witnessing the remarkable resilience people demonstrate during life’s most challenging moments. He believes that healing is possible, even after significant setbacks, and is passionate about helping individuals discover- and rediscover- their inner strength. His goal is to empower patients with the tools, insight, and confidence needed to move forward and create meaningful, lasting change.
Travian believes that authenticity, trust, and genuine connection are essential components of the therapeutic relationship. His clinical approach is person-centered and draws from a variety of evidence-based modalities.
