Primary Therapist

Sarah Seibel, ADT

Sarah Seibel, ADT, is a Primary Therapist at Maryland Addiction Recovery Center. Sarah began her journey in the behavioral healthcare field as a Certified Recovery Specialist and a Certified Peer Specialist. After obtaining her bachelor’s degree in Applied Behavioral Science, she transitioned into her master’s program in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a trauma focus. She is also a Alcohol and Drug Trainee in the state of Maryland.

Deeply passionate about supporting others in breaking free from cycles of addiction, mental illness, and generational trauma, Sarah loves helping individuals discover the power they already have within themselves to live free, meaningful, and fulfilling lives. Her personal and family history of addiction and mental health challenges was her initial motivation to pursue clinical work as a career path, but since that time her passion has grown far beyond that over the years. Time and time again, through working with patients and families, she has witnessed that recovery is possible.

Sarah considers herself a woman on a mission: To walk alongside others as they uncover their own unique paths to healing, recovery, and freedom.

Our Editorial Guidelines

Part of the journey from substance use disorder into recovery is education. At MARC, we believe the best way to serve our addiction and recovery community is to create and elevate content, resources, curriculum, and other educational materials according to an established editorial standard.

Our aim is to activate and restore hope by sharing current, helpful, accurate, and practical data that applies to our patients and their loved ones.
