John Welsh is the Maintenance Manager at Maryland Addiction Recovery Center. John’s role is to maintain, update, and manage the physical locations at MARC, including our extended care Community Living Treatment campus, our male and female sober homes, and our clinical campus.

John is committed to providing a safe, clean, and welcoming environment where patients are able to spend their full focus on their treatment and recovery. Before working at MARC, he worked in maintenance for a property management company, overseeing multiple sites for the organization. Having acquired skills through jobs in multiple trades, John is known for his communication, strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail. He takes pride in ensuring the facility and all locations are well-maintained and operating at peak efficiency.

A person in long-term recovery, he brings compassion, resilience, and a genuine belief that lasting recovery is possible for anyone that seeks it and is willing to put in the necessary work.  He is passionate about supporting others and is proud to support the healing mission of MARC. Outside of work, John is a devoted husband and father who enjoys spending time with his family and friends.
